Kanazawa, Ishikawa Prefecture in Japan.
Joined Tanka:
1951, joined Kwansei Gakuin University Tanka Club.
1954, joined Kwansei Gakuin University Tanka OB Club.
Presently:
Coterie of the Rinkan Tanka Association in Japan.
Member of the Japan Tanka-Poets’ Club.
Member of Cho-on Shisha Tanka Association in Hawaii.

1990, first Tanka book “TOGE” (Thorns) was
published from Kindai Bunge-sha. Tokyo Japan.
1994, second Tanka book “HANA NO MITERU CHI”-Ishigaki
Atsushi Eimin Kinen- (Earth Full of Flower: In Commemoration
of Atsusi Ishigaki) was published from Kindai Bunge-sha. Tokyo Japan.
1997, third Tanka book “SHIROKI ICHIRIN”
(A White Flower) was published from Bungei Shuppan-sha. Tokyo Japan.
1998, fourth Tanka book “KUUKO” (Airport) ;
the first bilingual Tanka book was published from KDC. Quebec, Canada.
1999, fifth Tanka book “ANKONKA” (
Requiem); the second bilingual Tanka book was published from Tanka Shinbun-sha,Tokyo.Japan.
2002, first Tanka-essay book “CHICHI WA DARE”
(Who was my father?) was pubilished from Seiji-sha, Kyoto, Japan.
2006, sixth Tanka book “INOCHI ITOSHIMU-
Warera Kokusai Ro-kon” (Cherishing Our Lives: International
Marriage of Two Elders) the third bilingual Tanka book was
published from Shinpu-sha, Tokyo Japan.
2008, seventh Tanka book “KUUKO” (Airport) revised
edition: printed Honolulu, Hawaii.

2000, at the third International Tanka Congress in Vancouver, Canada.
2003, at the fourth International Tanka Congress in Bangkok, Thailand.
